The year-round residence for a retired couple and their growing family includes five bedrooms, three baths and supporting living spaces.  Private programmatic elements were deployed into a two-story wing on the north side of the site, while the public areas were placed in a lower volume to the south of the private wing.  The garage and shop were burrowed into the land against the north side of the site to act as a privacy screen to the entry court.  Linking the public spaces to the private is a glass connector, which passes by a stone terrace to the west and a moss garden to the east.
